Today's photo is in honour of my love for sunglasses and my business Sparks Sunglasses. I was a little shorty, 14 & 15 years old, a young teenager, in high school when I fell in love with sunglasses. I went to an All Girls School in London and sometimes it wasn't easy to be yourself, but I confidently walked around the school with an array of sunglasses on my head for years. It was one of the things that made me feel unique amongst all of the girls in the same school uniform.
Fast forward some years (about 3 or 4 years) and I decided I wanted to have a sunglasses collection. I was 19 years old, living in Florida and I wrote Sparks Sunglasses Line in a note on my BlackBerry smartphone. Fast forward 10 years, I was 29 years old, in Florida and I launched @sparkssunglasses. For the past almost 4 years, Sparks Sunglasses has been a MASSIVE part of my life. Today it is a growing international company and I can tell teenage Kayisha that I did it! I didn't know that I would be a sunglasses connoisseur 18 years later, but I'm definitely glad that I am.
