On May 1st 2021, I was approached by She Shines UK about being featured on their social media platforms. I was touched, I felt blessed, I felt recognised and I absolutely felt honoured. To work so hard that someone notices and wants to put a spotlight on you is incredible. When I got over the shock, I shared a little bit about myself, my history and my journey to entrepreneurship. Then in just a matter of days, there it was, on the @SheShinesUK.Community page. Opportunities like this make you feel like everything that you do, the late nights and early mornings, the crazy looks you get when you tell people your ideas, the challenges when trying to bring said ideas to fruition are ALL WORTH IT!
On May 19th 2021, just a few days before the 5th year anniversary of Kayisha Online, my "Meet the Founder - Kayisha @kayishaonline" feature went up and I got butterflies. I had been acknowledged for all the work I put in behind the scenes, but also in public for the whole world to see. Before I go on and on, because I can, here is the post.

Kayisha became an entrepreneur at age 19 when she began a party planning business in the London area. She developed a buzz from creating each party and did that successfully for a year before moving to Florida.
During her time abroad, she created a list of everything she wanted to achieve. As a child she had a love for photography, so upon meeting a Photographer from Amsterdam, she couldn’t miss the opportunity to be his mentee.
In 2011, Kayisha came back to the UK and resided in Nottingham where she set up her photography business @PCBphotography. Her talent and camera took her to many places and allowed her to work for the BBC, Florida Fashion Week, The Make Up Show, @Niemannpickuk and International Talents. She will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of PCB in August.
Kayisha became the face of the Sophisticated K YouTube channel in 2015. Six years have past since she posted her first video, its now named @KLondontv and she has over 300 videos to inspire and entertain all. In 2016, Kayisha published her first book. 'Ounce of Faith and Inspiration'. Not long after Kayisha released 4 more books one being a children's book which has changed both her life and the lives of her readers. In 2019, Kayisha went on to launch a stylish sunglasses collection named @SparksSunglasses.

What I want to share with you may sound cliche, but it's important. If you quit, you'll never know. If you give up and part ways with your dreams, you will officially be a failure. I decided not to quit on my dreams, I decided to commit my entire being to making my dreams come true, whilst being an inspiration to the people around me (my nearest and dearest), but also the people of the world. I started from the bottom and decided that the ONLY thing I could do and would do is excel. I give it my ALL every single day and like I said, things like this make it ALL WORTH IT! No it's not a Grammy or an Oscar, but to me it's just as good. I'm a woman, a Black woman, a child of God, and a female entrepreneur who shines and people are experiencing my light. You might not believe me, but every day I ask God to let me shine in this dark world, and I give Him thanks because according to this I'm doing that #GetItGirl.
I want you to know that you can do it. I share my journey whether it be in blogs or vlogs on the K London YouTube channel because I want to inspire and encourage people. If I can do it, you can do it; so with that being said, I hope you have been motivated to go after your dreams.
