The Power Of Positive Thinking And Talking

Life is more than just the things you say and do! The things you actually say and do start and originate in your heart and in your mind. The feelings in your heart comes out in your emotions, words and deeds and the thoughts in your mind come out in your words, attitudes and your actions.
So, this morning I decided that I needed to post something on the Sophisticated K Tees Instagram. I'm juggling several Instagram accounts and it can get a little tricky for me, but I'm determined to succeed and prosper with everything I lay my hands on. I'm hard working, I'm a hustler and more than that I am motivated because I know my purpose and I have got to live it.
On the Sophisticated K Tees Instagram I post one photo of an individual either wearing a Sophisticated K t-shirt, me in an SK t-shirt or just me. Next up is a group photo. Me with someone else, an actual group or a side by side photo. Then I post a product photo or something fashion and inspiration related. It helps me to know what to post next, plus I like order.
This morning I knew that I wanted to say-
"Start thinking and saying positive things about yourself. You have a purpose and until you believe that you are special, blessed and highly favoured, you won't be able to fulfill your purpose and see your destiny."
I just didn't know what photo I wanted to post with it. It had to be a photo of more than one person, so I went scrolling through all of the thousands of photos on my phone and stumbled upon the photo of Real Talk Kim and Myself. Photo Above. I say stumbled, but really I didn't stumble. God knew exactly what photo I needed to post when He planted that caption in my mind. The caption goes perfectly with the photo because Real Talk Kim is holding my book, Measures Of Purpose In Life. I met her at the Charisma House church conference I went to in 2018, she spoke and then we met, hugged, talked and I gifted her a copy of my book. This photo speak volumes to me because she is also an Author, and had actually just released her book. The caption above is related to your purpose and I am so serious about people knowing what their purpose is and being dedicated to it.
In my book, Measures Of Purpose In Life, I touch on fear and the fear of failure, wanting IT bad enough, failure not being the end, letting go of baggage, trying new things, praying and preparing and so much more. I share personal stories that I have NEVER shared with anyone, I included purposeful prayers, quotes from my book, Quotes Of Faith And Inspiration, Bible scripture and photos. I'm a Photographer and I always find a way to incorporate photography and art in my work. Anyway, throughout the book, the topic of your mind and your heart, your thoughts and your passions are repeated because as today's caption says, you have to believe right in order to fulfill your purpose.
I love scripture because it always confirms and teaches. This scripture is definitely confirmation that your mind, your heart and your words are powerful and they need to be positive and pleasing to God.
Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer. Psalm 19:14
God wants to bless you and He wants to excel and prosper you, but you can't do that and you can't gratefully receive His blessings if the things coming out of your mouth and the things in your heart don't please Him. But also if the things coming out of your mouth are not true, honourable, right, pure, wholesome, lovely and admirable. Scripture says it best.
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things. Philippians 4:8
I love how my Monday 25th May 2020 Instagram post turned into a full blown blog. I was going to post a completely different KO blog post today, but God knew best. He always does! The other one can wait for another day. I hope you have been blessed and inspired!
