Healthy New Year To You!
Yes, I want you to have a Happy New Year; a successful year... a year filled with love, peace, togetherness and joy. But most importantly, I want you to have a healthy year. Your HEALTH is so significant and I think a lot of people take it for granted. A lot of people also abuse their health, make bad decisions and then have to deal with the consequences.
As we walk into 2017 together, I want to wish you and inspire you to have a healthy new year. Don't worry, I will explain exactly what I mean by that.
Healthy Physically And Mentally
It's important to cherish your health; your physical health and your mental health. You have to take the time to look after your organs on the inside before putting so much thought into your outward appearance. Do you understand that when the inside doesn't look good, and things are damaged, it starts to show on the outside. No matter how much make-up you put on, expensive perfume you spray, Brazilian weave you sow on your head/ wigs you wear or designer clothes you put on your back; you cant mask the sickness and disease. I want you to stop and think about the things you are consuming, in terms of food, drink, substances and in terms of the thoughts you house in your mind.
The food you ingest into your body has a direct impact on your overall health. A lot of food is actually poison these days so its even more crucial for you to put effort into eating healthy, clean and good food. Drinks - wine, beer, spirits, fizzy drinks/ soda, coffee and such things are what I would call dangerous too. If their not full of sugar, they have high amounts of caffeine, alcohol and these things are not kind to you. They might taste nice but that's just about it.
In my book Ounce Of Faith And Inspiration, I emphasised the importance of having a positive mind, thinking good thoughts and allowing them to manifest. Bad thoughts are like Leech (a terrestrial worm) that clings to you and doesn't give you anything good in return, it takes your joy (drains your blood). No one wants that, so I suggest that as soon as bad thoughts pop into your mind, you change your thoughts and think of something good.
The most spiritual thing you can do is choose. When you are making decisions every day you need to choose wisely, think about the impact and the effect what you are choosing to do will have on you, your family and others (the world). When you work on building your faith, growing closer to God, being more spiritual and more righteous you will be healthy spiritually. Moving towards a healthier spiritual life will require you to attend church, fellowship with others, read the Bible daily, sing praise and worship songs, pray and speak to God. Your spiritual life is a journey, but its one that is enjoyable when you move in the right direction.
We are in this world and surrounded by tens, hundreds, thousands and millions of people. Everyday you interact with someone, so having healthy relationships is crucial. My mum always says "No man is an island." and that basically means that we NEED each other. We cannot thrive and progress by ourselves. We can't make it through this journey called life, without the assistance and the company of another or many other human beings. With that being said we need to learn to love, respect, appreciate, be kind, loyal and overall just treat other people well. Always have a positive attitude towards people, have manners and respect in your communication, be willing to put other people first and to make other people happy. You won't lose a thing.
If you work on all of these things, you will be healthy and happy in 2017. Let good health, success, love, peace, unity and joy flow into your life freely in 2017.
