These Books Changed My Life!
I am an avid reader. I get lost in books, but also found. I see the importance in books and thank God for the power of words. I have a list of books that I need to read, books that people have recommended but also books that I have come across and just thought "I have to read that one day." I'm currently doing the Goodreads Reading Challenge, and by that I mean I set myself a goal in January 2018. I told my...Read Full Post »

Our children are the future!
Before I start, I want to say that I do not have children, BUT I am a god mother to a gorgeous, very intelligent and loving little girl. I am also an aunty, and that role alone has developed my mother instincts and given me opportunities to love, care for and nurture my nieces and nephews as if they were my own.
Now, a few days a go, I heard a message from Prophetess Tiphani Montgomery but more of a warning about J...Read Full Post »

Does Age Matter? I Say NO!!
All my life, people have seen me as a lot younger than I am and that's when looking at my physical appearance. I'm way past 20 years old and people still say "You look 16 or maybe 18." The bad thing about that is, some people tend to think that what they see on the outside means I'm not mature, qualified or blessed and able enough to fulfill a task and do it well. Well, I've come to shatter that ageist mindset in t...Read Full Post »

Dear Maya Angelou,
Today is your birthday, so I thought I would write a letter to you. The art of letter writing seems to be lost in this day and age, but I’m aware of the power of a letter and the power of words and expressions. You are 90 years old and Google has dedicated their homepage to you. What an honour. The doodle was very well done so kudos to the Illustrator. I watched the video they created and I must say I was impressed and delighted. Ami...Read Full Post »

Happy Birthday To Yah
Kayisha Online is like my baby, but when I say that, I actually mean it's like a cot that's holding each of my offspring. Their all in different stages of life, but that's what makes it cool. PCBphotography is almost 7 years old, Sophisticated K on YouTube turned 3 years old last week, the Sophisticated K T-shirt Collection is its twin and lastly, Kayisha Online Publications. ...Read Full Post »

Stabbed In The Back/ Why Is It Ok For Them
I’ve been feeling like it’s ok for some people to be successful, but not for others. When I say others, I include myself.
I am a very ambitious and hard working young lady. Since I was a teenager in high school, I’ve been told that I have a great work ethic. I’ve been told that I put my all into my work, I got the Head Teachers Award because my Health And Social Care teacher nominated m...Read Full Post »
